Paradise Worship Concert in Penang!

I was at the Paradise concert just now organized by http://www.paradiseworshippenang.com/.
It was my FIRST time seeing the church being filled with so many people.
I wish that our church's worship services would be like that every week!
As the speaker, Matt Heins said, if we pray and fast about the most illogical things, God can give us that breakthrough. (Somewhat, i kept thinking about the loaf of breakthrough bread whenever he says that word)

What I like most about the speaker is, he relates the message with real life examples. Very often, most speakers are unable to share their own personal experiences to the congregation, especially about their bad pasts (their dark secrets).

I liked the part that God could actually tell something to us through our DREAMS.
I dream so much, in fact, TOO MUCH.
If only God could give me the wisdom to comprehend my dreams.

and.. I'm glad Iwas there, though I was late for the first 10 mins.

Somewhat they kept singing this song (Take it all):

Quite a catchy song :)
Dreams can sometimes be a portal to another world, where messages come through to us. But it's not that easy to interpret what they mean.

Or they could just be a bunch of random items that our subconscious has picked for the sleeptime movie screening :P

What's the Difference between 'Net' and "Nett"

Since it's part of my group's job to publish daily billings report to the management, our Director (from US) pinpointed that we should fix the spelling of 'nett billings' to 'net billings'. My colleauge was looking at google, trying to understand the 'right' spelling to be used. I finally checked it from Wikipedia , and found that 'nett' is BRITISH and 'net' is AMERICAN. No wonder he's offended to fix it to 'net'! C'mon. I'm in an american MNC, I should be more sensitive towards this.

Monday Movie Day - Mamma Mia

Finally, after being a nuffnanger for 3 months, I was invited for a free movie at GSC Gurney. Thanks, nuffnang. Again and again. Free movie for 3. Thanks. :D The blogger community was exceptionally quiet compared to the usual cinema crowd. Perhaps, maybe, they only TALK in their blog. I dont' know. Even as we were watching a few minutes of the silent movie, there were not a single 'hoo-ing' or banana-throwing at the screens. I was looking hard to see if I know anyone. I guess it's just 5xmom with her anti-ISA tshirt. Hm.. Somewhat, after watching the movie, I felt that it was just morally so wrong. Am I too rational? 1. How can one has 3 fathers? Shouldn't they do a DNA check first? 2. Does that mean it's alright sleeping with 3 men one after another and get pregnant and raise the child in an island? 3. It seemed ok for the daughter to just call off the wedding. 4. And, the pastor actually solemnized their wedding just like that? They don't even need to att...

An Encounter with Gelatissimo

It was an eventful Saturday afternoon. I had an 'appointment' with Gelatissimo , Gurney Plaza, Penang. I have always wished to try gelatos there (since Lecka Lecka has gone for good) and it's the ONLY store serving gelatos in Penang (I think). There you go.. I'm going to blog on my 'encounter' with Gelatissimo. First and foremost, consumers need to be educated the difference between ice-cream (Haagen dazs, Baskin Robbins, Walls etc) and Gelatos. Gelatos is italian frozen ice dessert and the method of making it is different from ice cream . Basically, gelatos has less cream than ice cream and it has higher density (the molecules are nearer as compared with ice cream). Most importantly, I think the fat content is less as it has more original food as compared with ice cream (usually with articificial coloring and flavours). The friendly staff posing for camera. The girl in spectacles would always asked me if I would like to try their flavours. To be honest, I trie...
