English Afternoon Tea at E&O

For the price of RM38++, this is what you get at E&O in the afternoon ...
While waiting to be seated, you may sit at the lounge first.

One pink rose = I love E&O?
Perhaps, englishmen are lower velocity people.
I waited really long and took this picture with my empty tea cup.

There you go..
One big pot (2 tea bags).
And this is not mine.
Some fresh cream and strawberry jam (nopes. . maybe those are not fresh cream and jam)
This is it....
One person is only entitled:
1. 1 pot of tea of choice
2. 2 scones *
3. 2 cucumber sandwiches
4. 2 turkey ham sandwiches
5. 2 smoke salmon sandwiches *
6. 2 tiny cakes
7. 1 buttered cookies
8. 1 fruit pastry

*Note: Good stuff.
The rest: no comments!!
Fresh scone... with strawberry jam and whipped cream.
It's a long afternoon.
Our food can't last that LONG.....

that that.. I asked for a refill of scones.

*Edit*
My friend told me to SPEAK da truth in my blog.
My friend told me to EXPRESS my deepest OPINION about the place....

And, honest speaking, I HATE the double-standard attitude that has been instilled in them.
Come on, I just checked with my friend (she's sooo lucky... ) that she had refills of her cakes and scones during her last visit on a weekday.
Why on earth did the waitress told me that it comes in a 'SET'?
Was that because I was using vouchers that day!? Was that because I was not paying the full price?
COME ON!.. the membership cost $$$$ as well!
I guess, the waitress reluctantly gave us 3 extra pathetic scones.....
It's not that i really need to eat that much, but there was not much 'HONESTY'..........

Should I start wearing floral dresses with english hats and a flower pinned on my dress?

RM38 for just those few tarts, cakes, snacks and tea? I think I'll pass... this sounds like it's aimed either at tourists or those who are into the atmosphere.

What's the Difference between 'Net' and "Nett"

Since it's part of my group's job to publish daily billings report to the management, our Director (from US) pinpointed that we should fix the spelling of 'nett billings' to 'net billings'. My colleauge was looking at google, trying to understand the 'right' spelling to be used. I finally checked it from Wikipedia , and found that 'nett' is BRITISH and 'net' is AMERICAN. No wonder he's offended to fix it to 'net'! C'mon. I'm in an american MNC, I should be more sensitive towards this.

An afternoon at Dannok

Living at the northern side of Malaysia makes it really convenient and easy to go 'overseas'. For us, going to our neighboring country, be it Thailand or Singapore by land or by flight is really easy. I'm always a fan of Thai food, and with the remaining Thai bahts that I had since my last Bangkok trip (which I didn't finish even crossing the border a couple or times), I decided to go Dannok for FOOD again. So, it's a day trip or rather, half day tour to Dannok For the past few weeks, I was searching for insta / blog /facebook posts if there is any other new hangouts in Dannok, but sadly, I couldn't find many bloggers who write about it. The funny part is, I already blogged about it two years ago. The immigration complex in Malaysia is new. I nearly couldn't recognize it, while passing to get our passport checked. As I didn't want to drive over, we parked our car at the Zon Duty Free. As I entered, I took the wrong ticket (which parking rate is RM3...
