Living at the northern side of Malaysia makes it really convenient and easy to go 'overseas'. For us, going to our neighboring country, be it Thailand or Singapore by land or by flight is really easy. I'm always a fan of Thai food, and with the remaining Thai bahts that I had since my last Bangkok trip (which I didn't finish even crossing the border a couple or times), I decided to go Dannok for FOOD again. So, it's a day trip or rather, half day tour to Dannok For the past few weeks, I was searching for insta / blog /facebook posts if there is any other new hangouts in Dannok, but sadly, I couldn't find many bloggers who write about it. The funny part is, I already blogged about it two years ago. The immigration complex in Malaysia is new. I nearly couldn't recognize it, while passing to get our passport checked. It's been a while since I've gotten my passport stamped, thus, I thought I could do a day trip at the southern Thailand border. Being a frequent traveler to Thailand, I've always booked a van service to take me to the border. This time, it's really my first time trying out going to the border by foot. It wasn't a good day for me as I forgotten to bring my umbrella. Thus, I bought a not-so-nice one that day. Moreover exchange rate is really bad. It's like 8.30 rate. Then, I didn't know how to get the immigration form. So i chose the easier way to go to the shop and get it printed out (I later found out from my next trip that i can walk into the office to get one) I started my walk along the shops to take a look at clothes, food, and also I bought a floor mat (funny, i thought it was nice). Also, not forgetting 7-11 for the cold drinks. The weather was really crazy that I stopped at McD for free wifi and aircon, and the samurai pork burger.  Serio...
