It was my last day at the city. I met a lady at the Hillsongs Sisterhood meeting and she told me I should go and do some shopping at QVB . Yeah, I was thinking I should take another city walk before I board the plane. Oh dear, it was so long ago that I took this picture, but I think it should be the clock tower of Westin . Westin area. Walked along the City the night before and saw that Maloney's Hotel was having buffet promotion, maybe it was less than $20 per person. That night when we went, there weren't anymore buffet, but dinner there is pretty affordable Trying their steak. It was really cheap, probably below $10. No beer but I could ask for sky juice with squeezed lime for free. Seems like Australian pubs are mostly self-service. Just wait for the buzz and walk over to the counter to get our food And I ordered their dessert, I think it was some pancakes with cream. It was our last night at Sydney. I really missed the place very much. Sad that it was a short trip, but indeed, it was a journey packed with adventures. For that moment, I thought I was on Travel and Discovery Channel. It was early in the morning and I decided to have an early walk at the CBD for a quick breakfast. I thought it'd be good to try their subway breakfast set - coffee, sandwich and choc chip cookie. I love the coffee in OZ, maybe because of the milk, and it's cheap too! There was another fast food, Oporto, right at the Central St, which I have never had before.. Soon, I reached Circular Quay from Manly beach , it's already late for dinner, probably close to 8pm. Totally as lost as ever on my first day in the land of Sydney, I just found my way to the Rocks (As recommended by Sue ). Still figuring out where to find cheap and good food, I sort of passed by a german restaurant, Lowenbrau Keller which I find it very cozy. Aside from going to Oktoberfest in Penang, it is truly my first experience dining in a bavarian restaurant, with live entertainment - with games & challenges and bavarian songs, and of course not forgetting BIER! It's just a culture that they got to raise their beer mugs (which I really didn't understood) one, two ... cheers!
