Pinkberrys, Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka

The last time I went to Mahkota Parade, there was a huge field opposite.
Now, it has turned into a Megamall called Dataran Pahlawan.



My friend introduced me to fake Pinkberrys (Pinkberry is supposedly to be a frozen dessert franchise) which serves really good mango desserts.
I would say the equivalent of the Hong Kong's Hui Lau Shan.



The setback is, there is no aircon and the shaved iced mango would melt in no time!
They have the same 'device' where you could call the waiter by pressing the button (water/bill/call options)



1. Durian Chendol - they had some chunks of frozen REAL durian -> I think season not here yet
2. Healthy Gui Ling Gao

3. Yummy - MANGO desserts with vanilla ice cream!!!

An Encounter with Gelatissimo

It was an eventful Saturday afternoon. I had an 'appointment' with Gelatissimo , Gurney Plaza, Penang. I have always wished to try gelatos there (since Lecka Lecka has gone for good) and it's the ONLY store serving gelatos in Penang (I think). There you go.. I'm going to blog on my 'encounter' with Gelatissimo. First and foremost, consumers need to be educated the difference between ice-cream (Haagen dazs, Baskin Robbins, Walls etc) and Gelatos. Gelatos is italian frozen ice dessert and the method of making it is different from ice cream . Basically, gelatos has less cream than ice cream and it has higher density (the molecules are nearer as compared with ice cream). Vacation nightmare

I was dreaming as if I was in Sentosa. The beach was beautiful and I tried capturing the scenery with my digicam. Sunset was colorful. We were in the closed up area and a few of my friends and I began to pose while getting the staff to take pics for us. We posed quite long for them. Shots don't seem to be good. The scene suddenly changed into a bedroom scene with my sis. There was a great disaster. The enemies had come. With just one blow from his mouth, the bridge was changed into wooden bridge (like Terabithia). They came to destroy by placing the bottle of ketchup (what the??!?) at every spot. We tried to strategize. OOps......... and the dream just died.

Monday Movie Day - Mamma Mia

Finally, after being a nuffnanger for 3 months, I was invited for a free movie at GSC Gurney. Thanks, nuffnang. Again and again. Free movie for 3. Thanks. :D The blogger community was exceptionally quiet compared to the usual cinema crowd. Perhaps, maybe, they only TALK in their blog. I dont' know. Even as we were watching a few minutes of the silent movie, there were not a single 'hoo-ing' or banana-throwing at the screens. I was looking hard to see if I know anyone. I guess it's just 5xmom with her anti-ISA tshirt. Hm.. Somewhat, after watching the movie, I felt that it was just morally so wrong. Am I too rational? 1. How can one has 3 fathers?
