An experience in Disneyland Hong Kong

It's a very much delayed post on my visit to one of my dream place, Disneyland.
Even though the place is much smaller (more expensive) as compared as the other disneylands, I really didn't mind, as it was the cheapest flight to get there.

Being on a budget, I took the train from TST station to Disneyland resort line.

Many of the passengers took pictures like I do (maybe the younger ones, not the older ones. haha)

As I reach Disneyland, there is a grand staircase/escalator ushering my arrival.

There - my dream finally came true.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Since there are so many of them lining to take pictures with their favourite cartoon character, I followed and played along.
In fantasyland, everybody do nothing but take pictures.
Since Mickey and Minnie and the princesses have always had LONG QUEUES, I took pictures with the EVEN better and cuter characters, and one of them is PLUTO (short wait time, about 3 minutes).
But still, whenever it is about my turn, they want to take a break
*gee*
So scared to take a picture with me huh?

WHile WAITING at the queue, I witnessed someone proposing.
Aw.. so romantic kah?
But.. but.. if I have a bf and he is going to do that, I think I would need to DUMP him.
So embarrassingggggggggggggggggggg............. (with ppl like me snapping the pics!)

Along that same line there was this cute little girl with her cute princess dress.
I looked at her, and went to the shop and put on a HEADband like hers.
*hehe*
I'm YOUNG at heart.

Along the mainstreet USA, we could see the castle.

Along the street, there are cute bubbles machine that I think it'd look great in the pictures.
That's the Disney on Parade, and in one of the souvenir shops along the main street.

This is the Lion King samba show in the Adventureland.

Tomorrowland - was just buzzlight year and all that sorts - but I think I spent too much time there, queueing up in their kiddo rides.
And, the Golden awards show.
I lost focus that I didn't go to the MOST important show, which was the 3D show.!!!!

Lunch and dessert at Adventure-land.

I was short and late for the 8pm fireworks, that I didn't manage to see much as I was mostly looking at the trees and human heads.
*dissapointed*
Towards the end, I dragged myself to leave the place.
Cause I wanted to stay there longer...

What's the Difference between 'Net' and "Nett"

Since it's part of my group's job to publish daily billings report to the management, our Director (from US) pinpointed that we should fix the spelling of 'nett billings' to 'net billings'. My colleauge was looking at google, trying to understand the 'right' spelling to be used. I finally checked it from Wikipedia , and found that 'nett' is BRITISH and 'net' is AMERICAN. No wonder he's offended to fix it to 'net'! C'mon. I'm in an american MNC, I should be more sensitive towards this.

An afternoon at Dannok

Living at the northern side of Malaysia makes it really convenient and easy to go 'overseas'. For us, going to our neighboring country, be it Thailand or Singapore by land or by flight is really easy. I'm always a fan of Thai food, and with the remaining Thai bahts that I had since my last Bangkok trip (which I didn't finish even crossing the border a couple or times), I decided to go Dannok for FOOD again. So, it's a day trip or rather, half day tour to Dannok For the past few weeks, I was searching for insta / blog /facebook posts if there is any other new hangouts in Dannok, but sadly, I couldn't find many bloggers who write about it. The funny part is, I already blogged about it two years ago. The immigration complex in Malaysia is new. I nearly couldn't recognize it, while passing to get our passport checked. As I didn't want to drive over, we parked our car at the Zon Duty Free. As I entered, I took the wrong ticket (which parking rate is RM3...
