Love does not consist in gazing at each other,
but in looking outward in the same direction.

The hunger for love is much more difficult
to remove than the hunger for bread.

Love is not blind,
it sees more not less; But because it sees more it chooses to see less.

He has achieved success who has lived well,
laughed often, and loved much.

If we deny love that is given to us,
if we refuse to give love because we fear pain or loss,
then our lives will be empty,
our loss greater.

Among those whom I like or admire,
I can find no common denominator,
but among those whom I love,
I can: all of them make me laugh.

For one human being to love another:
that is perhaps the most difficult of our tasks;
the ultimate, the last test and proof,
the work for which all other work is but preparation.

Love has nothing to do with
what you are expecting to get,
it's what you are expected to
give — which is everything

Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor
imagination nor both together go to the making of genius.
Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius.

What most people need to learn in life
is how to love people and use things instead
of using people and loving things.

Nice one... agree.

In addition,

"We love because he first loved us". (1 John 4:19)
