Kim Chi @ Tg Bungah

Since Delifrance decided not to serve us, we decided to drive around for any other restaurants serving cheap lunch.
We fumbled into this Korean Restaurant, Kim Chi along the road with a big banner advertising, Rm12++ for set lunch!

We walked in.
It's the appertizer.. with kimchi, vege, fish cake, and liver??
The soupy kimchi stuff which is not in the set lunch menu...
The seafood noodles which is non-spicey.
My noodle which tasted like taiwanese ma-lat noodles.
I didn't like it, as it was dry and super spicey.
Korean tea that supposed to help on digestion (equivalent to indian's rassum)
Left over ... :D

After we've paid, I realised that we can use CIMB for additional 10%. :(
How sad.. .

if u're referin to the cold drink served after the meal then its honey + cinnamon drink.

hello there! thanks for the reply. yes, indeed it has a very strong taste to it. its the cinnamon poweder and also the amount of water used. there was once i noticed that they didnt do a good job at mixing the cinnamon powder and honey, you can see the texture to it. but i love the kimchi there. i once bought the kimchi and wanted to make kimchi soup but ended up finishin of the kimchi :)

An Encounter with Gelatissimo

It was an eventful Saturday afternoon. I had an 'appointment' with Gelatissimo , Gurney Plaza, Penang. I have always wished to try gelatos there (since Lecka Lecka has gone for good) and it's the ONLY store serving gelatos in Penang (I think). There you go.. I'm going to blog on my 'encounter' with Gelatissimo. First and foremost, consumers need to be educated the difference between ice-cream (Haagen dazs, Baskin Robbins, Walls etc) and Gelatos. Gelatos is italian frozen ice dessert and the method of making it is different from ice cream . Basically, gelatos has less cream than ice cream and it has higher density (the molecules are nearer as compared with ice cream). Vacation nightmare

I was dreaming as if I was in Sentosa. The beach was beautiful and I tried capturing the scenery with my digicam. Sunset was colorful. We were in the closed up area and a few of my friends and I began to pose while getting the staff to take pics for us. We posed quite long for them. Shots don't seem to be good. The scene suddenly changed into a bedroom scene with my sis. There was a great disaster. The enemies had come. With just one blow from his mouth, the bridge was changed into wooden bridge (like Terabithia). They came to destroy by placing the bottle of ketchup (what the??!?) at every spot. We tried to strategize. OOps......... and the dream just died.

What's the Difference between 'Net' and "Nett"

Since it's part of my group's job to publish daily billings report to the management, our Director (from US) pinpointed that we should fix the spelling of 'nett billings' to 'net billings'. My colleauge was looking at google, trying to understand the 'right' spelling to be used. I finally checked it from Wikipedia , and found that 'nett' is BRITISH and 'net' is AMERICAN. No wonder he's offended to fix it to 'net'! C'mon. I'm in an american MNC, I should be more sensitive towards this.
