Some random shots...

It was a long journey as due to the Ops Bersih, there were police checks in Juru, Tapah and Gopeng area, I was being brought to the trunk road by the Konsortium/Season bus. First, I had to go thru Bkt Tengah/Bkt Minyak. I was glad that he finally turned out to the highway, somewhere perhaps Ipoh? i really dont knowwwww.........

Somewhere along Ipoh...

And, later I was kinda !*#&@# when he turned into Gopeng.
It reminded me of the road I took to Gua Tempurung. Worst part, when I passed by Kampar, he was right infront of my ex-housemate's place... and proceeded to Tapah and BIdor......

And after a terrible 6.5 hours ride, I finally reached Pudu.

Managed to take nice view of KL tower/KLCC Twin towers at the 18th floor of Crown princess.

And the fountains during the day....
I've been to the gallery many years back in 2001, now it's still the same, but right now, they have art classes in the gallery itself. And.. i remembered my friend and I was stopped by the guard as we took pictures inside. :(

And I was invited to visit the Gallery as I was looking at the Petronas Advertisement in the small TV. HE gave me a locker to put my backpack (yes, with my clothes and all) and I took a relaxed stroll to appreciate the art. He asked if I was a student, i just say "ya".. and told him I was from Penang. HAhahHEhaheahehaehaehehaehaehae

Something extra was they exhibit the special places to celebrate our 50th Independence year. I'm glad that I've aware of the historical places that marked our independence, eg. Subang International airport, Stadium Merdeka, Dataran Merdeka, Paliament, Tugu Negara, Masjid Negara, Istana Negara.....

LV in Takashimaya, Singapore

LV in KLCC - Same thing.. they have a "jaga pintu" boy.
My favourite shopping mall..
My favourite shopping mall 2... :P
Oops. I was told by the guard not to take pics (again).
I quickly apologized and went off....... and bought RM2.50 plates.

Free shuttle service from Bangsar LRT to Midvalley - very frequent service. (since there is no longer free shuttle service from Kelana to 1U - we decided to go Midvalley. haha)

My fav shop - I like the name...
Bye bye Petaling street. I like the balls.. but Olympus camera is lousy. :(

What's the Difference between 'Net' and "Nett"

Since it's part of my group's job to publish daily billings report to the management, our Director (from US) pinpointed that we should fix the spelling of 'nett billings' to 'net billings'. My colleauge was looking at google, trying to understand the 'right' spelling to be used. I finally checked it from Wikipedia , and found that 'nett' is BRITISH and 'net' is AMERICAN. No wonder he's offended to fix it to 'net'! C'mon. I'm in an american MNC, I should be more sensitive towards this.

An afternoon at Dannok

Living at the northern side of Malaysia makes it really convenient and easy to go 'overseas'. For us, going to our neighboring country, be it Thailand or Singapore by land or by flight is really easy. I'm always a fan of Thai food, and with the remaining Thai bahts that I had since my last Bangkok trip (which I didn't finish even crossing the border a couple or times), I decided to go Dannok for FOOD again. So, it's a day trip or rather, half day tour to Dannok For the past few weeks, I was searching for insta / blog /facebook posts if there is any other new hangouts in Dannok, but sadly, I couldn't find many bloggers who write about it. The funny part is, I already blogged about it two years ago. The immigration complex in Malaysia is new. I nearly couldn't recognize it, while passing to get our passport checked. As I didn't want to drive over, we parked our car at the Zon Duty Free. As I entered, I took the wrong ticket (which parking rate is RM3
