Hard Rock Cafe Burger for RM10 at the Rumah Kebajikan Seri Cahaya Food Fair

Should I say that the burger is cheap because it was sponsored by HRC, Penang, or should I say that it's too expensive to buy a RM10 burger? :)

It was sort of my first time volunteering myself to help out as a 'general' worker in a food fair as an organization. When we bless, we are blessed even more. Though I already had coupons that I bought earlier, I had quite a couple of free stuff from various helpers from the fair:

1. Additional RM10 coupon
2. Fruit cake
3. Pan cake
4. Char mihun
5. Chocolate wafer
6. Cookies
7. Unlimited flow of water

Isn't that wonderful :)

An Encounter with Gelatissimo

It was an eventful Saturday afternoon. I had an 'appointment' with Gelatissimo , Gurney Plaza, Penang. I have always wished to try gelatos there (since Lecka Lecka has gone for good) and it's the ONLY store serving gelatos in Penang (I think). There you go.. I'm going to blog on my 'encounter' with Gelatissimo. First and foremost, consumers need to be educated the difference between ice-cream (Haagen dazs, Baskin Robbins, Walls etc) and Gelatos. Gelatos is italian frozen ice dessert and the method of making it is different from ice cream . Basically, gelatos has less cream than ice cream and it has higher density (the molecules are nearer as compared with ice cream). Most importantly, I think the fat content is less as it has more original food as compared with ice cream (usually with articificial coloring and flavours). The friendly staff posing for camera. Vacation nightmare

I was dreaming as if I was in Sentosa. The beach was beautiful and I tried capturing the scenery with my digicam. Sunset was colorful. We were in the closed up area and a few of my friends and I began to pose while getting the staff to take pics for us. We posed quite long for them. Shots don't seem to be good. The scene suddenly changed into a bedroom scene with my sis. There was a great disaster. The enemies had come. With just one blow from his mouth, the bridge was changed into wooden bridge (like Terabithia). They came to destroy by placing the bottle of ketchup (what the??!?) at every spot. We tried to strategize. OOps......... and the dream just died.

What's the Difference between 'Net' and "Nett"

Since it's part of my group's job to publish daily billings report to the management, our Director (from US) pinpointed that we should fix the spelling of 'nett billings' to 'net billings'. My colleauge was looking at google, trying to understand the 'right' spelling to be used. I finally checked it from Wikipedia , and found that 'nett' is BRITISH and 'net' is AMERICAN. No wonder he's offended to fix it to 'net'! C'mon. I'm in an american MNC, I should be more sensitive towards this.
