Canon PhotoMarathon 2010 at Penang!

I'm so excited being a Canon user to participate for their 4th photo marathon. And, the best part was, it was it held in Penang! It does a lot of promoting on Penang as a heritage site, moreover, we have a lot of history to speak for Penang.

 Tall people standing infront of me. They don't see me and ocassionally, they would step on me without realising that there is an object infront of them.

Honestl, I'm impressed how organized the event turned out to be. They have printed ample of indemnity forms for us to fill up and had many helpers ready to assist us. Registration was quick and fast, that I didn't remember HAVING the free towel with me :(

My photo walk began with a heavy rain. Got to wait and wait. And here are some random pics..

I tried to capture the sun ,but didn't know how. I guess i got to practice and read more.

Honestly,  if you are  not from Penang, you wouldn't expect to see a cafe at this corner of the street.

 It was pouring heavily that I rested at the canon EOS boutique for more than 1 hour.

I was bypassing a Prize Giving Ceremony for Quran readers for the children. A lady was kind enough to offer us free sunquick. Couldn't expect more. What a true malaysian spirit.

Since it's part of my group's job to publish daily billings report to the management, our Director (from US) pinpointed that we should fix the spelling of 'nett billings' to 'net billings'. My colleauge was looking at google, trying to understand the 'right' spelling to be used. I finally checked it from Wikipedia , and found that 'nett' is BRITISH and 'net' is AMERICAN. k770i day out: Haagen Dazs, QBM

Let's compare the picture quality of k770i. Without LED light (dark) With LED light (brighter) OK. Not bad. :) Bon Appetit. Mango was nice. Tiramisu was nice. Cookies in the chocolate was nice and i think it was coffee was nice too!

An afternoon at Dannok

Living at the northern side of Malaysia makes it really convenient and easy to go 'overseas'. For us, going to our neighboring country, be it Thailand or Singapore by land or by flight is really easy. I'm always a fan of Thai food, and with the remaining Thai bahts that I had since my last Bangkok trip (which I didn't finish even crossing the border a couple or times), I decided to go Dannok for FOOD again. So, it's a day trip or rather, half day tour to Dannok For the past few weeks, I was searching for insta / blog /facebook posts if there is any other new hangouts in Dannok, but sadly, I couldn't find many bloggers who write about it.
