Trust in the Lord always

I was serving at children's church and I'm really amazed with the children.
They were greatly praising God and were very attentive and participated while the lessons were being conducted.

What amazes me most.... where.. a very cheeky and naughty boy shares his both X-men toys (Yes, he explained to me that it was BEAST and ICEMAN) with the other boys.

I'm so impressed.

Life is like that. When things that happened came unexpectedly, we tend to be so astonished with it.
When we expect too much, we'd end up get more dissapointments in life.

Also, we are listening too much sermons/read too much books about good people, and when we don't see good people around, we get very FRUSTRATED.
Life is like that. We need to learn how to deal with it.
When we experience pain, it will always end with JOY.

An Encounter with Gelatissimo

It was an eventful Saturday afternoon. I had an 'appointment' with Gelatissimo , Gurney Plaza, Penang. I have always wished to try gelatos there (since Lecka Lecka has gone for good) and it's the ONLY store serving gelatos in Penang (I think). There you go.. I'm going to blog on my 'encounter' with Gelatissimo. First and foremost, consumers need to be educated the difference between ice-cream (Haagen dazs, Baskin Robbins, Walls etc) and Gelatos. Gelatos is italian frozen ice dessert and the method of making it is different from ice cream . Basically, gelatos has less cream than ice cream and it has higher density (the molecules are nearer as compared with ice cream). Most importantly, I think the fat content is less as it has more original food as compared with ice cream (usually with articificial coloring and flavours). The friendly staff posing for camera. Vacation nightmare

I was dreaming as if I was in Sentosa. The beach was beautiful and I tried capturing the scenery with my digicam. Sunset was colorful. We were in the closed up area and a few of my friends and I began to pose while getting the staff to take pics for us. We posed quite long for them. Shots don't seem to be good. The scene suddenly changed into a bedroom scene with my sis. There was a great disaster. The enemies had come. With just one blow from his mouth, the bridge was changed into wooden bridge (like Terabithia). They came to destroy by placing the bottle of ketchup (what the??!?) at every spot. We tried to strategize. OOps......... and the dream just died.

Monday Movie Day - Mamma Mia

Finally, after being a nuffnanger for 3 months, I was invited for a free movie at GSC Gurney. Thanks, nuffnang. Again and again. Free movie for 3. Thanks. :D The blogger community was exceptionally quiet compared to the usual cinema crowd. Perhaps, maybe, they only TALK in their blog. I dont' know. Even as we were watching a few minutes of the silent movie, there were not a single 'hoo-ing' or banana-throwing at the screens. I was looking hard to see if I know anyone. I guess it's just 5xmom with her anti-ISA tshirt. Hm.. Somewhat, after watching the movie, I felt that it was just morally so wrong. Am I too rational? 1. How can one has 3 fathers? Shouldn't they do a DNA check first? 2. Does that mean it's alright sleeping with 3 men one after another and get pregnant and raise the child in an island? 3.
