Log Terrace in Hatyai

On our way to Hatyai, the driver suggested us to pay additional of 200baht so he would take us around. One of it is a restaurant called Log Terrace with interesting 'cave' interior. At first, the tour guide only mentioned that it was a waterfall restaurant, but now i see, it's more of logs and caves.. The food was not that pricey and we were the only customers Combination of 3 colors: Red, blue, yellow.. Introduction to the dining area.. OK.. NOw i see the waterfall.. still awaiting for the rice to come.. Otak otak Mixed vege Kerabu mango seafood tomyam Green chicken curry Pork legs

2 buffets in a day

It has been more than a year since I last visited Hatyai . I realised that I shouldn't travel during the year end as Hatyai would be raining day and night everyday, without fail. This made it difficult for me to walk around. So, on my last day, the trip was just eat and eat. I woke up pretty early hoping to catch a glimpse of sunrise but there was no sunrise view for me. Then, it was the typical buffet breakfas that I had in Lee Gardens coffee house. A typical breakfast meal with waffle, french toast, hot dogs, fried chicken, eggs and fries. (seems like it was still the same stuff a year ago) Eat loads of fruits. Hatyai's version of kuih chiap. Mangoes seemed to be cheap in Hatyai.. I had Sizzlers for lunch and ordered the 169baht meal. Grabbed loads of stuff from the salad bar. Toasted perfectly.. Yummy spinach soup. And more miscellaneous stuff from the salad bar And more.. And no more time for the salad bar... because the main course came.. till I didn't had the time t

Fuji Restaurant

I remembered I've been to FUJI in Bangkok once many years ago and since one of my friends recommended me to this place for cheap japanese food in Hatyai (Lee Gardens Plaza), I decided to try on. The drink was buy 2 free 1. (27Baht each) Got it because I thought the bottle was cute. As the food arrived, I was advised not to take any pictures of the food, so I used my phone camera to capture it instead. :D My sis' fish (i think it was mackerel) And mine, assorted seafood with rice - which I think the sashimis weren't fresh

Groceries shopping at Big C

I used to shop around the town area, but this time, I had the chance to visit Big C to do my groceries shopping, at least to one of the cheapest hypermarket chain in thailand (aside from Tesco Lotus). As I entered the place, I grabbed some mini donuts from mister donut. And not paiseh taking sampling and the drink was actually meant for kids. Some stuff that we've got...

Richptc a scam?

Sometimes I wonder if making money online is that simple as it is. Someone introduced me to this site, http://www.richptc.com/ and I'm not sure how true the payout would be, and we really got to try it out to know.. http://www.richptc.com/index.php?ref=meiyi Register and refer me :P And see if I could reach 1000 ads to get payouts. .. was plainly browsing and some sites have discussed of it being a scam: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1994477.aspx http://richpromdi.blogspot.com/2009/08/payment-proof.html Now i'm thinking, should i continue to click?

Old Town Kopitiam - Western Platter

The Old town Kopitiam western platter looked more like a breakfast set rather than a lunch set. And it was RM7.90. Sometimes, i wonder, would it be cheaper to get fish and chips in other hawker areas?

Where to find free J.Co Donuts?

Few weeks ago, on a weekday evening, I was walking along J.Co Donuts at Queensbay Mall Penang... and I saw J.Co staff standing outside with a box of mini donuts. I was surprise that it was free sampling for shoppers I quickly grabbed one Oreo flavoured one.. and nom nom.. Didn't manage to take the other Mint flavoured one from my friend as she ATE it before I even had a chance to take a picture of it. I (l)ove donuts.

What would it be...

While others queued up so badly for 2012 in the cinemas, I, on the other hand had a terrible dream last night. In the Old testament, while the land of Egypt was infested by frogs, gnats, flies and locusts, I dreamt of Penang infested by MONKEYS. There were small monkeys, big monkeys, wild/evil monkeys and the good watcher monkeys. It all started when I was driving along the usual road home. A small litle girl who was holding her mom's hand stopped in the middle of the road. I stopped. I paused. I saw tiny little monkeys (30cm length probably) along the road. I traveled and encountered many who were trapped by monkeys. I finally reached home. I saw more monkeys outside my house. Everyone hid in the house. There were chained bigger monkeys who were supposed to protect us. Now, I think my dream was far more interesting than most movies...

Bethel House Of Prayer

It was my first visit to Bethel House of Prayer located at Viaduct Road. I was pretty amazed with the place with the given facilities, and most importantly, I feel safe in this place. (Oh well. many people say hills are the haunted places, but I always remember that Jesus goes up to the mountain to pray) Luke 6:12 One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. There are many props in the place. Pray for the nation: Philipians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God My upper deck bed I sneaked to the room and took a picture.. The Ladies Durian and wisdom Looking at the city of Penang every moment Admiring God's small little creation Taking little steps of faith..
